I am a textile artist and quilt designer. I have a passion for traditional hand stitched patchwork, quilting and sewing which I have been sharing since 1996 through my successful classes and workshops. I run in person classes and live, interactive Zoom sessions - these are held in my purpose built workroom in Leigh-on-Sea and venues in Essex, London or elsewhere by arrangement. All my teaching is based around my own designs for quilting and embroidery. I believe that whilst there are many computerised sewing machines available, it is important to maintain the traditional hand sewing techniques handed down through the generations.

I have a number of City and Guilds Patchwork and Quilting, and City and Guilds Creative Studies qualifications. I am a member of The Quilters Guild and The Embroiders Guild.

I have run workshops at the Country Living Spring and Christmas fairs for many years in London and Harrogate, as well as running workshops at The Festival of Quilts, The Stitch Festival and the Quilters Guild Annual Conference.

When not teaching, I spend my time designing and making beautiful quilts for my own pleasure.
