During this workshop you will explore hand stitched Shadow quilting, whilst making a picture or patch which you can add to a quilt or cushion. The technique of Shadow quilting is a form of appliqué, a way of capturing memories whether it be a design, special fabrics, a picture and sometimes dried flowers, onto a foundation and layering with transparent fabric. I will share my love of creating small pictures using this method.
